The Tall Timber is a multi-level play structure designed to create height, movement and connection within a compact footprint. Featuring a central elevated platform linked to surrounding elements, this unit encourages children to climb, explore and engage with the structure from multiple directions.
Access is provided through a combination of climbing elements including a climbing wall, climbing net and internal net tunnel, allowing children to build strength, coordination and confidence. A wobble bridge with rope handrails connects platforms, introducing movement and balance challenges while maintaining clear sightlines for supervision.
The structure also incorporates a fireman’s pole for dynamic descent and a 600 mm wide curved slide, creating a continuous and engaging play loop. Covered platform sections with pitched roofing provide a sense of enclosure and imaginative play, while also offering partial shade.
Constructed from durable bush poles, hardwood decking and a robust steel frame, the Tall Timber is built for high-use school and public environments. Its vertical form and layered play elements make it ideal for sites looking to maximise play value within a defined space.
