The Big John Fort is a large, multi-level play structure designed to deliver a high level of physical challenge, movement and exploration. Featuring a series of elevated platforms at varying heights, this unit encourages children to climb, traverse and engage with the structure from multiple directions.
Access is provided through a combination of climbing elements including a climbing wall, rope ladder and climbing net, allowing children to build strength, coordination and confidence. Elevated rope traverse and coconut traverse elements connect platforms, creating dynamic movement paths that challenge balance and spatial awareness.
A 600 mm wide slide provides a fast and engaging exit, while a fireman’s pole offers an additional descent option, promoting both excitement and variety in play. The multi-height design, with platforms ranging up to 2100 mm, supports progressive play experiences for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Constructed from solid bush poles, hardwood decking and a robust steel frame, the Big John Fort is built for durability in high-use school and public environments. Its expansive footprint and diverse play elements make it an ideal feature structure for parks and larger play spaces.
