DG Play was first established as Devenish Group Landscaping in 2006 by managing director Daniel Hurrell. In the first ten years of working within the industry the main focus was on domestic landscaping until a chance meeting with Nature Playground designer Kim Beasley from Childscapes changed the company’s direction.

Kim Beasley has extensive experience in designing Nature Playgrounds for children and is highly regarded within the industry. Since then, we have worked closely together, where Kim completes a design and then DG Play constructs it.

Over the years we have formed a strong and creative business partnership. We have produced many unique, high quality Nature Playgrounds in primary schools and daycare centres all over the Perth metro area and country WA.

During our time building Nature Playgrounds our team has grown. It has become a family business as well as having a fantastic team of loyal employees. We have grown core values within our company and this shows in our work. Over the years our team have gained valuable experience and understand what children love and need in a playground.

We are now designing our own products to incorporate into designs such as forts, climbers, rope play, teepees and other nature play items that are designed to physically challenge and inspire children.
